Signs Fiction: Collector’s Edition

Over the years, construction workers seem to have developed a mysterious script made with adhesive tape, readable by only a few.

What do these signs mean? Is it a secret language, or do they mean nothing at all?

While researching the book, I made 11 "visual notes" exploring how tape signs and involuntary forms can communicate. Each one is made with adhesive tape, spray and wall paint on chipboard (33 x 23 x 1,2 cm).

The book comes with the painting shown here.
